Mandurah OCC Regatta

9.00am OC1 Novice race - 2km
9.30am Briefing Marathons
9.45am Women’s OC6 Marathon - 7km
10.45am Men’s OC6 Marathon - 7km
12.30pm Mixed OC6 Marathon - 5km
2.00pm Briefing for OC1 Marathon 
2.15pm OC1 Marathon Dawesville to Halls Head - 12km
This race will be open to OC1, OC2, Skis, and SUP.

PRIZE MONEY
Prize money will be awarded dependant on number of competitors.
ALCOHOL
Will be available at the Old Sailing Club.
FOOD
A sausage sizzle and BBQ will be provided and soft drinks and water will be for sale. 
SAFETY
Leg ropes, life jackets and flares are to be carried on all OC1 craft.
Racing covers are recommended for all OC6 event.
2 bailers, 6 life jackets and flares are to be carried in all OC6 canoes.
All OC6 canoes are to carry a tow rope that is attached to the front iako spreader inside the canoe ready for towing.
AOCRA racing rules apply to all canoes and events.

STARTING PROCEDURE



• Raising of Yellow Flag: Approximately 2mins to the start - All canoes to the start line
• Raising of Red Flag: Approximately 10 sec to the start - All canoes stationary, paddles up ready
• Raising of Green Flag: Start of race - GO!!!

$15 per paddler for SKI and SUP paddlers

STARTING PROCEDURE
Coloured flags will be used to start the race. The is the starting sequence:

• Raising of Yellow Flag: Approximately 2mins to the start - All competitors to the start line.
  Note yellow flag doesn’t have to stay up for the full 2 mins if starter is happy with the line.
• Raising of Red Flag: Approximately 10 sec to the start - All competitors stationary, paddles up ready.
• Raising of Green Flag: Start of race - GO!!!

If the wind direction changes on the day the alternate course is from Secret Harbour Surf Club to Halls Head. Competitors will be notified via email the day before if there is any change to the program.
